Valentines Evening

  • Feb. 12, 2008.  We had an excellent roast beef supper prepare by Optimist Carol.  Our evening entertainment was singing by Andrea Lett, accompanied by her father Rick on the guitar.  What a great voice!  An assortment of goodies were given away, including Roses for the ladies.  There was a contest later the pitted the men vs. the women, in coming up with "Terms of Endearment" in less than 3 minutes.  The men had a short list, the women much longer, but one entry did standout for the women, and had to be in reference to one of our short, loud members "%ickhead".  The next time, we'll see who can name the most tools in 3 minutes.  Or the proper name of the screw heads, example not the square thingie.  Great night.  Thank-you to Optimist Jimmy for the pictures.
